Tuesday.........

Doesn't time fly - I can't believe it's Tuesday again!
Tuesday means the Colour Challenge at the Outlawz and this weeks picture was chosen by Ursula

So for my card this is what I came up with

I jus.t so love this cute little birdie from Doodle Pantry, I matted the pretty pink Nit Wits paper onto some yellow card, added some lace flowers that I coloured with Promarkers then added some bling to the centres, the sentiment is from Craft Sentiments and I think they are just so cute!

This is what the little birdie looks like, coloured with Promarkers and just so sweet, every time I see this image it makes me smile!

Well I hope to see you all over at the Outlawz for this latest challenge, come on over and check out the lovely makes from the DT - you may even decide to stay awhile.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you at the Color Challenge this week!!

Sassy Graduation!

If you belong to the SSD group over at PCP you will know that Jackie Randolph has started a progressive freebie and this is the first image

In the UK we don't do much for graduation but I do know that any of the grads this year will need lots of luck to get a job!

I used a template from an Anna Marie Designs CD, I have 5 of them and always forget about them! So I cut the base card from some cream card using the template, I then cut the horseshoe from the template from some satin silver card, I backed it with some glittered black cut my sentiment and added the brads them mounted the whole thing onto the card. The flowers are punched and I have added some bling to the centres

I coloured the image with Promarkers she is definitely a sassy lady!

I will also be entering her in to the Crafting Cafe Challenge which is Lady Luck!
Hope to see you soon!

Check Out our Design Team!

We have had some new members of the design team join us at Eclectic Ellapu so I hope you will go check out their blogs and leave them some love!

This is the expanded  Pink Team
So for the new challenge we have some wonderful inspiration for you from these incredibly creative people!

This week challenge is: Anything Goes, everyones favourite!

My card this week was made for our apprentice who has left to have a baby.

I made an 8 x 8 card so everyone in the office could sign it. I cut the card from some white card the layered up with some sparkly blue topped with cerise. I added some lace and layered up with some Lucy Cromwell paper that has gorgeous glittery flowers and butterflies on. Some flourishes and some cute bows for finishing touches.

The image was a freebie last weekend from Mo Manning and is just gorgeous and also very appropriate for this card!

This is a close up of this darling image! The sentiment was printed out and cut to shape with a corner punch then inked with shades of pink.

Well thats my card and I hope you will come over to Eclectic Ellapu and join us this  week - remember you can enter any craft project we love to see all your creations!

Hope to see you there!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you again soon!

Another Type of Project

I don't do very often - a stepper card.

The new challenge at Penny's Paper Crafty is for a stepper card. I don't make them very often but really enjoyed playing with this one!

I printed the card with a peachy coloured Raspberry Road paper then cut out my card. I have added some Spellbinders lace dies cut from some pearly peach card and some orange gems the big flower is from Jak Heath, she gave them away on her blog and they are quite spectacular, thanks Jak!

My image is from Stamp Art Design who is one of our sponsors this week.

So get out your patterns and find that step card you have been meaning to make and come over and join in the fun - there are some great prizes to be won, so what are you waiting for!

See you there!!

Just for a Change

I've made a tag!

Not something I do very often and I don't know why as I use all the tags I make for special gifts and they are always well received.

I wanted to enter the Lacy Sunshine challenge this week and emailed Heather for the gorgeous freebie and it's one of those images that you have to colour! So without futher ado this is my tag -

I cut the tag out on the Cricut from some bright blue pearlised card. I added a Cheery Lyn doily and the cute image. The word is also cut on the Cricut. The cord is made from some woven voile ribbon and I used some flourishes and a handmade flower to finish off.

This is a close up of the darling image which I coloured with Promarkers.

I will be entering this into the Lacy Sunshine Challenge this week - the theme is Don't be Square!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you'll visit again soon!

Let's have a Disney Day!

It is Tuesday and that means the Color Challenge over at the Outlawz. This weeks inspirational picture and twist was chosen by Guylou:

Well with a Disney picture like that I couldn't do anything else really could !?

The whole thing was made using my Cricut. I started out with a base card of shiney royal blue, Mickey was made using the Mickey Mouse and Friends cartridge (I made Mickies, Minnies, Donalds, Goofys by the bucket load!)

Such a fun character to make and so easy on the Cricut. The stars were also cut from a Cricut cartridge (Can't remember which one, sorry.) I downloaded the Craftroom software and set some time aside to play and boy did I play - I loved the fact that I could cut different sizes of stars all on the same sheet without having to reload and change sizes, etc.

I hope you like my friend Mickey and I hope you will join us over at the Outlawz for this challenge and while you're there why not check out some of the other challenges too!

Hope to see you there!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you again soon!

Sassy Dorothy!

I won another sassy image in the launch of the Wizard of Oz over at Sassy Studio Design, this time I got to choose so I got Dorothy.
I finally got to colour her up - I was making DT cards all weekend but squeezed in one for me!

I teamed her up with some delish Lucy Cromwell paper and added some lace and ribbon to bring her colours out. I added a few flowers too!!

I coloured her using Promarkers and what a sassy Dorothy she is (Judy Garland never looked like that!!!).

Thanks for stopping by I hope to see you again soon!

I will enter this into the Sassy Studio Design challenge where the challenge this week is add flowers!
Entered into this challenge as well:
