Candy Canes!

We have a new challenge over at Penny's Paper Crafty this week and it's everyone's favourite - Anything Goes!

We have the lovely Lacy Sunshine as our sponsor this week and I got to play with this gorgeous image

I coloured the image with Promarkers and Copics and cut it out with a cute holly borders die. I used some papers from my stash for the background and added some gold ric rac and a printed sentiment.

I hope you will come over to Penny's and join us for this great challenge!

The Colours of the Flag!

Another new challenge has started at the Outlawz and this week we would like you to use the colours from the South African Flag

This week's challenge is hosted by the very talented Ursula and she chose the flag of her homeland and what a great range of colours to play with!

For my card I used a great cut from Silhouette, it was a freebie and I think it looks amazing and could be used for so many occasions!

What fantastic colours they are and couldn't they be used for some brilliant projects!

I hope you'll come over and join us for this great new challenge - see you there!

Winter Wonderland!

The new challenge at Penny's is very simple this week, we want you to use black card somewhere in your design! Now most of us have oodles of black card as we use it for matting and layering so it should be very easy to join in this week!
We have two wonderful sponsors this week, Dianes Daydream Designs and DeeDee's Digis!
I got to play with an image from Deedee and I so love her designs as you get a whole collection of images on each sheet, this is the image I used

For my card I used the beautiful deer image and this is what I made

I used some Centura Pearl white with a touch of silver as my base card and I used the Birch Tree die from Taylored Expressions which I cut from some white glitter card, The starry sides I cut from the top of one of the Create a Card dies. I coloured the lovely deer with Promarkers and the sentiment was from my stash.

So come on over and join us in this new challenge at Penny's Paper Crafty - see you there!

Glitz It Up!

That's right - the new Colour Challenge at the Outlawz has a beautiful inspirational picture chosen by Judith

Now isn't that lush and you just have to add glitz! With those gorgeous colours you can only do glam and glitz, lol!

I used the Blessing Tree from our sponsor this month, Squigglefly and I can see this image becoming a real go to!

I used my new Tonic dies to make the gorgeous lacy edges to the background and I added some purple heart gems and some gold ric rac. The image has been coloured with Promarkers and glittered within an inch of its life!

I hope you can join us this week in this lovely challenge - see you there!

Well our sponsor Meljen has this adorable digi in their store and I was lucky enough to use it for the latest challenge at Digi Sketch, the theme for this challenge is food! So this is what I made with this gorgeous digi

Coloured with Promarkers and using some of the great papers from Create and Craft's Kanban Members Special.
The sentiment is from Woodware - I actually cheated and only used half of it and used the chalkboard technique.
So come on over to the Digi Sketch Challenge and join in the fun!

This is the sketch for this challenge

See you there!

Creative C!orners

Yes we want to see Creative Corners over at Penny's Paper Crafty this week. We have two great sponsors - DeeDee's Digitals and the Paper Shelter.

The Paper Shelter gave us this cute image to play with

I used the coloured version and printed it directly onto the beautiful paper from Michelle Roo. I used one of my new Tonic dies and cut the corners out to use here, layered onto red and some red hearts just finish it off!

So come on over to Penny's and join us in this fun challenge!

Tic Tac Toe!

We've got a new challenge over at the Outlawz Colour Challenge - we're playing Tic Tac Toe!

We want you to pick a row down, across or diagonally and if it has a word in a square you pick we want you to use that in your project too! How fun is that!!

I used the top row across with all the words! So here is what I made using a digi from our sponsor Squigglefly, the digi is called The Candle Shelf

The wonderful background paper is a digital paper from Jak Heath, image coloured with Promarkers and the lovely lace is die cut with a Tonic border die, so lush!!

Can't wait to see what you come up with for this new challenge!
