Outlawz Progressive Freebie Challenge

The latest progressive challenge is starting at the Outlawz and we have such a fun image this month from Blueberry Bear!

He is just so cute and looks like so many boys around the world! I used some digi papers for the background and added a little graffiti! The sentiment was printed using a chalkboard font.

We would so love for you to join us in this fun challenge and as long as you enter a project within the month you will automatically get the next months sent to you.

So what are you waiting for!

Travel Time!

The new challenge from the Pink team at Eclectic Ellapu wants to see your travel projects!
Well here in the UK we are having a heatwave and all thoughts are on holidays with lots of sunshine and fun! So for my card I used a digi from A Random Fan which I think is just too cute, I created the background with some blue sky made using the shaving cream technique and a little green and black card. I thought it needed some flowers too! I hope you like it and I would love to see you over at Eclectic Ellapu to join us for this fun challenge!

We so want to see your travel projects too!

Another Cutie from Gerda!

For the progressive challenge at Gerda Steiner this month we got two digis as Gerda will be away for two months so we get to play extra!

This is the first of the two

I thought this was just too cute! I love watermelon - it just says everything about summer to me and this little man looks as though he is really enjoying it too!

I coloured him with Promarkers and used a new Spellbinders die to cut it out then inked around the edge. The papers are from a digital collection from Kmess, the flowers and leaves were cut using some Tattered Lace dies and the sentiment was stamped with some peg stamps.

You need to join in at Gerda Steiners to get these cute stamps each month - so what are you waiting for!

An Anniversary Card

It's like taking a cork out of a bottle, I am trying to catch up on some of the posts I wanted to make!

This is a card I made for a friend who's sister was about to celebrate her 50th wedding anniversary, in fact it's tomorrow.

I made an 8 x 8 card base and used the Songbirds die collection from Tonic. I cut them out of some matte gold and layered onto some navy iridescent vellum. The numbers were cut from another Tonic set that came with the drawers I bought for an advent calendar and the names are cut from some engine turned effect paper on the Silhouette, I edged the card with some thin strips of gold.

this is the inside

She was thrilled with it and has flown off to Ireland today for the big celebration tomorrow - I hope the happy couple like it too!

Thanks for stopping by - see you again soon!
