Color Challenge

Hello everyone, well I may have some time to myself soon, we have a lot on at the moment and time seems to run away from me at the moment!

Well enough of my woes and onto this weeks Color Challenge over at the Outlawz.

Ursula picked this weeks lovely palette and twist

Our sponsor this month is the wonderful Anne Fenton, a very talented lady and I have used one of her beautiful floral images

Now I'm usually stuck for fibres other than twine and that gets boring, same o, same o! But for this challenge I got to use some hessian courtesy of the lovely Elaine who sent me a parcel of goodies that I love!

I coloured the image with Promarkers in lavender and lilac - even though it looks blue! The base card is actually a beautiful pearlised lilac and topped with some lime green pearlised paper! The joys of the British weather - its so hard to get a photo in the right colours!!

Well I've winged enough so I hope you will come over to the Outlawz and join us in this fun challenge!

I hope to see you soon!!

New Style Eclectic Ellapu!

Gosh what a day Saturday was, very stressful and I hope we will have some good news soon, If we do I will let you know what all the stress was for, lol!
Now for stress free - Eclectic Ellapu are combining teams and challenges and will now be every three weeks! The pink team has a theme of 'Wings', the purple team has a theme of 'Butterflies' so I think my card covers both challenges!!

I found the template for this on the net and for my sins I have forgotten where I found it so sorry I can't credit the am azing person that devised this wonderful template!
I cut the card from some raspberry pearl card then layered it up with some delish papers from my stash.
I used a Marianne die to cut ther final butterfly from some pink glitter card I finished it off with some pretty gems!

Unusual for me to make a card without a coloured image but I hope you like it!

Come on over to Eclectic Ellapu and join in the fun - I hope to see you there!!

More Shades of Green!!

I didn't know I had so many!! I've made another card for the Aurora Wings Facebook challenge, Shades of Green.
Today I have used this gorgeous image

I love this image - I love harlequins so this has to be a favourite! I coloured it using a selection of alcohol markers. I used to have some lilies that were green much like these - another thing I love is green flowers (and white). I used a selection of green stickles for the glitter strings.  The fan die cut is from Joanna Sheen and I love it, I thought perfect for this image, the flourish is from Crafts Too and the corner is from Memory Box. I added a wooden flourish that I inked green and used a large pearl for the centre.

I hope you like my latest shades of green and I hope to see you again soon!

Shades of Green!

On Aurora Wings Facebook group this month has a challenge to use shades of green. I did at first think Oh NO! but then I thought about it and found it was really easy! I got a head start by using the lovely Shamrock Pixie

I used a base card in dark green pearlised card then layered the image with shades of bright green. The corners and embellies are cut from a very dark green glitter card and the image has been coloured with a variety of alcohol markers.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you again soon!

For my card I have used an image of Annes

such a peaceful image! I used some cream card as my base and added some pretty blue paper, I then diecut lots of flowers using a Memory Box die in yellow and blue. The sentiment is a die cut too!

Up In The Air!

The latest challenge at Dragonfly Dreams was chosen by our lovely Elizabeth and she wants to see your projects that are Up In The Air - let your imagination run wild!

We have a wonderful sponsor this month

for my card I have used the fabulous Fuchsia and Hummingbird. It comes as a complete set and includes the sentiments

I printed the image and sentiment off then coloured the fuchsia and hummingbird with Promarkers/Flexmarkers/Copics. I have a fuchsia that colour in my garden and it is such a beautiful colour. I used a bit of Sakura Starlight to the stamens and some Gloss pen to the hummingbird., I used layers of sparkly paper that don't actually show up but the blue, cream and teal are all glitter papers! I finished with some blue organza ribbon and some blue gems.

I do hope you will come over to Dragonfly Dreams and show us your projects that are Up In The Air!

Vintage Time

We are going vintage at Eclectic Ellapu and we would love to see all your vintage projects!

I had fun making this one

I got a pad of Fairy Belle paper free with Simply Cards and Papercraft last month and they are all such lovely papers and all with a very vintage feel to them - I was spoilt for choice! I added some cream crochet lace, I picked out the lime green from the paper and matched the corners to that. I finished the corners with some pearls. My birdcage was a wooden cut out from Daisy Moon that I painted then covered with it with some lime green shaggy glitter, the tag was cut from a vintage pad and I added the sentiment and heat embossed it in some chocolate glossy embossing powder.

I do hope you'll come over and join us for this challenge, show us your vintage projects, we'd love to see them so I hope to see you all over at Eclectic Ellapu!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you again soon!!
