Happy St Patrick's Day!

Two posts in a run - I must be getting organised - NOT!!!

We have a new Colour Challenge at the Outlawz today and this week Jeanie chose our challenge and twist!
This is the perfect challenge to make either a St Patrick's Day card or a good luck card - perfect colours and twist!

So for my project I used a cute image that came from Whimsy stamps (when they did digis) and it is just too cute!

I coloured this little fella with my Polychromos pencils and just added a little Wink of Stella to the coins and his buckles. I used some paper from Tattered Lace and added some nice sparkly clovers!

I hope you like my little leprechaun and I do hope you can come over and play with us this week!

I would like to enter this into:

Artistic Inspirations
Colour Inspiration Monday
Crafting From the Heart
The Cutie Pie Challenge
Pammies Inky Pinkies
The Paper Girls
Through the Craftroom Door

Sea Life.............

Hello I can't believe it's halfway through March already! Well at least I will make one post this month. Life has definitely got in the way of art and I coloured up this lovely image for a little stress relief! This beautiful mermaid is by Ike and I won it for being in the top 3 of one of their recent challenges - I was so honoured!

I coloured the image using my new favourites, Polychromos pencils, I cut it out using an oval die and the outside the box technique, I then printed off some shells, cut them out then shaped them using an embossing tool and used them to frame this beautiful image - I used a wooden word that I coated in marquasite glitter, all mounted onto a pearlised teal card - very simple!

I will enter this into Ikes latest challenge and Through the Craftroom Door I will also add to Pennys Challenge

Thanks for visiting I really do appreciate it!

Spring Window

Hello again, we have a new Progressive challenge started at the Outlawz and this month we have a beautiful image from Beccys Place called Spring window!
What a beautiful image and there is also a coloured image if you're in a hurry and a lovely sentiment too!

I coloured the image with pencils (I am trying to practice!) and layered it up with a pretty die cut from Apple Blossom and finished with some pretty flowers and pearls from Wild Orchid Crafts!

I went for some very bright colours to bring the beauty of the window out!

I will enter this into Beccys challenge for March.

CAS

Hello again, gosh two post this month I must be getting back to my old self!

I belong to a group on Facebook where one of the members asked if anyone could make a card for her husband to wish him well as he undergoes chemotherapy - I thought what a lovely thing to do for your husband so I put my hand up. This is a card for someone I don't know so fortunately the lady did put some likes on her post and one was a liking for birds of prey.

I got this image from somewhere and I must confess I don't remember where but it was the perfect image for a CAS card, coloured with Polychromos pencils (my new love!) with a hint of inking around the edges.

The sentiment finishes inside with the line - and back on cloud nine!

I was pleased with how this came out - for once, it was exactly as I had imagined it! I do hope it will bring a smile to the person it is made for and hopefully he will get many cards to show him that people do care!

I am hoping to enter this into the following challenges:

Hello Again!

Well I can't believe I've not posted anything for two months, bad me!

So I'm tentatively back and will try and get my act together soon!

Back to business - the new challenge is starting over at Eclectic Ellapu and to start the year with a bang we have everyone's favourite - Anything Goes.

So for my project I have made a birth card for one of the guys at work that has had twins! The boys were delivered by section and arrived at around 7lb each, Mum and Dad are extremely thankful after many years of trying and finally going for IVF.

So here is my card

I used an image from Mo Manning - what a great image for twins! Coloured with Copics.

I hope you will come over and join us for this first challenge of 2017 - we love to see your projects!

See you there!!
